Delete your SimEFB account

For the SimEFB app (Google Play: com.daneilder2.sim_efb) by daneilder2 — you do not need the app installed to delete your account.

Which account should be deleted?

Enter the email address of your SimEFB account. We will send a 6-digit code to that address to make sure the request comes from you.

Check your inbox

If an account exists for , we sent a 6-digit code. It is valid for 15 minutes — check your spam folder too.

ACCOUNT DELETED

Your account has been deleted

Your SimEFB account and all associated personal data have been permanently removed. A confirmation email is on its way. You can uninstall the app or create a new account at any time.

DELETE IN THE APP

  1. Open SimEFB and sign in.
  2. Go to SETTINGS → USER ACCOUNT.
  3. Tap DELETE ACCOUNT and confirm with your password.

DELETE IN THE CREW PORTAL

Signed in at simefb.com/portal? Open Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account.

NO ACCESS TO YOUR EMAIL?

Send a request via the contact form or our Discord with your username. After verifying ownership we delete the account within 30 days.

What happens to your data

Deletion runs immediately once confirmed. Nothing is kept unless listed below as retained or anonymized.

Account: username, email, password hash, Pro status, SimBrief pilot ID DELETED Immediately
Login sessions, auth tokens, device names, session IP addresses DELETED Immediately — all devices are signed out
Saved and published community checklists, Discord link, redeemed codes, support messages, beta sign-ups DELETED Immediately
Active Pro subscription (Stripe) CANCELED Immediately — no further charges
Activity log entries (e.g. logins) ANONYMIZED Immediately — user ID and IP address are removed
Deletion record: username, masked email (e.g. pi***@example.com), date RETAINED 12 months, as proof that your request was fulfilled (Art. 5(2) GDPR)
Invoices for past Pro payments RETAINED Up to 10 years by our payment provider Stripe, as required by German tax law (§ 147 AO)
Web server logs (IP address) AUTO-DELETED Within 14 days (log rotation)
Server backups AUTO-DELETED Within 30 days
Data stored only on your device (downloaded checklists, notes, settings) ON YOUR DEVICE Removed when you uninstall the app
