Yes! The basic version of SimEFB is completely free and includes checklists, live weather, SimBrief integration, VATSIM events, unit converter, scratchpad and night mode. Additional Pro features such as VATSIM ATC and offline downloads can be unlocked with an activation code.

SimEFB is available for Android (via Google Play Store or direct APK download) and as a Windows desktop application. You can use it on your phone, tablet or PC alongside your flight simulator.

NO. SimEFB is explicitly designed for flight simulation only. It is not certified for real aviation and must not be used as a reference for real flight operations. All data and procedures are intended solely for entertainment and flight simulation purposes.

Open the app and tap "Register" on the login screen. Enter your email address and choose a password. You will receive a 6-digit verification code via email. Enter the code to verify your account and you are ready to go.

Please check your spam or junk folder first. You can request a new verification code after a 60-second cooldown by tapping "Resend Code" on the verification screen. If you still do not receive it, please contact us via our contact form or Discord.

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your registered email address. You will receive a reset code via email. Enter the code along with your new password to complete the reset.

Yes, at any time. In the app go to Settings → User Account → Delete Account and confirm with your password. Without the app, use simefb.com/delete-account — you confirm with a code sent to your email. Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately and any active subscription is canceled.

The Checklist Library contains official FCOM-based checklists for the Airbus A320 Family, Airbus A330-900, Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 777-300ER (the Boeing checklists require Pro), plus community checklists for many more aircraft. You can also create your own checklists on simefb.com.

Log in to the Crew Portal on simefb.com and open the Checklist Creator. Add sections and items (standard, critical, conditional, note or header), choose the aircraft and tags, then submit it for review. Once approved by the SimEFB team, it appears in the library for everyone. You manage your checklists under My Checklists.

Enter an ICAO airport code (e.g. EDDF, KJFK) and SimEFB will fetch the current METAR report, a fully decoded weather summary, ATIS information and the flight category (VFR, MVFR, IFR or LIFR). Data is sourced in real-time from aviation weather services.

The VATSIM ATC feature shows live air traffic controllers currently online on the VATSIM network for your selected airport and route. It includes an Airport tab for local controllers and a Route tab that filters by region, grouping departure, enroute and arrival controllers. This feature requires Pro (subscription or activation code).

On your first visit to the SimBrief screen, you will be prompted to enter your SimBrief Pilot ID. Once connected, SimEFB fetches your latest Operational Flight Plan (OFP) and displays it with clearly organized sections for route, flight information, fuel planning and weights. You can change your Pilot ID at any time via the link at the bottom of the screen.

Subscribe on simefb.com/pro: €4.99 per month or €39.99 per year, cancel anytime. You can also redeem an activation code, for example from a promotion on our Discord server. Can't pay right now? Request Pro via the contact form with a short reason — we review every request.

Pro unlocks VATSIM ATC with live controllers for your airport and route, offline checklists that work without internet, the Pro checklists for the Boeing 737-800 and 777-300ER, the Pro role on our Discord server and priority support. All free features remain available.

Open the app and navigate to Settings. Tap "Redeem Code" and enter your activation code in the format SIMEFB-XXXX-XXXX. Once successfully redeemed, your Pro status will be activated immediately and all premium features become available.

Open the Crew Portal on simefb.com and click Manage / Cancel Subscription, or use the same button on simefb.com/pro. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. If you delete your account, an active subscription is canceled immediately.

First, check your internet connection and make sure you have a stable network. The server may occasionally be down for maintenance — please try again after a few minutes. If the problem persists, check our social channels for status updates or contact support.

Make sure you have an active internet connection and pull down in the Checklist Library to refresh. If that does not help, close the app completely and restart it. Without a connection only checklists you downloaded for offline use (Pro) are available.

If you installed SimEFB from the Google Play Store, updates are delivered automatically through the store. If you downloaded the APK directly, you will need to download the latest version from our website and install it manually. Windows users can download the latest installer from our download page.
